In Episode 2, I’m talking about the biopsy — what the process looked like for me, what I experienced, and what ultimately led to my melanoma diagnosis.
I also break down the difference between shave biopsies and punch biopsies, why biopsies are performed, and what you can expect if your dermatologist recommends one.
For me, this was the moment that turned “it’s just a birthmark” into something much more serious. Sharing these photos and my experience isn’t always easy, but I believe the more we talk about skin cancer, the more we can learn to recognize when something deserves a closer look.
Your skin is worth paying attention to.

My hope is to raise awareness, educate others, and help break the stigma surrounding skin cancer and melanoma. If sharing my story can help even one person feel more informed or less alone, it’s worth telling.

Hi, I’m Morgan! 🤍
I thought it was time for a little reintroduction.
I’m a Certified Oncology Esthetician, and providing safe, compassionate care for clients undergoing or recovering from cancer treatments is one of the most meaningful parts of what I do. I’m passionate about creating a relaxing, welcoming environment where every client feels cared for, supported, and confident in their skin.
In addition to my esthetics education, I’m currently finishing my bachelor’s degree at James Madison University, where I’m studying Communication Studies with a concentration in Advocacy and a minor in History. My education has strengthened my ability to connect with others, advocate for my clients, and provide thoughtful, individualized care.
I became a licensed esthetician in 2024, but my love for skincare started long before that. Ever since I was a little girl, I was always trying new skincare products, learning about ingredients, and finding joy in caring for my skin. What started as a personal passion has become a career that I truly love.
Today, I specialize in relaxation-focused treatments because I believe everyone deserves time to slow down, recharge, and invest in themselves. My goal is for every client to leave not only with healthier skin, but feeling refreshed, confident, and genuinely cared for.
