Can shampoo really fix hair loss? 🤔
Let’s clear something up!
Shampoo does NOT cause hair loss in a healthy hair follicle, but it also isn’t going to magically fix an unhealthy one.
Yes, the right shampoo and conditioner can support a healthier scalp environment. Some products can help with scalp stimulation and concerns related to DHT (a hormone associated with certain types of hair loss).
But shampoo alone is not the solution.
Hair loss is complicated, and often there isn’t just ONE contributing factor.
That’s why, as an Associate Trichologist and Hair Loss Practitioner, I believe in looking at the bigger picture.
🌿 A comprehensive approach to hair growth may include:
* Identifying the underlying causes of hair loss
* Evaluating nutrition and lifestyle factors
* Reviewing relevant bloodwork
