As I approach 5 years in my Studio, I've had the incredible honor of being voted into the Top 3 Businesses for Best of Flagstaff — Personal Care: Hair Salon for 3 years.
The first time I was even considered, I was blown away.
But to be a solo-preneur, make it into the Top 3, and know that it happened because YOU took the time to vote for me?.... That means more than I can really put into words.
Because here's what makes Cessified so special to me:

That connection is the part I treasure most.
You aren't just someone sitting in my chair while I do your hair.

It starts with an idea. ✨
But the magic happens in the conversations, the trust, and the collaboration that follows.
Every session begins with understanding what you're envisioning, how you live your life, and what feels like YOU. From there, we create a plan that works with your lifestyle while moving toward the result we're dreaming up together.
And then… we spend some really damn good time together. 🥹
Sometimes we're venting about life.
Sometimes we're watching or listening to a favorite movie.
Sometimes we're singing along to our favorite jams.
Sometimes we're simply relaxing in the best way possible.
And sometimes there's absolutely no need to entertain each other at all.
Just trust.
Conversation.
Creativity.
Time.
This transformation didn't happen in one session. It has been a process of learning, creating, adjusting, embracing, and trusting the journey toward ALL WHITE. 🤍
And honestly? One of my favorite parts of what I do, isn't just seeing the finished result.
It's getting the privilege of learning who you are along the way.
Every session brings its own little layer of connection, growth, laughter, venting, creating, and that beautiful exchange of energy that happens when two people feel comfortable enough to simply be.

✨100 Days Until Halloween!✨
Every year since 2018, I've celebrated Halloween a little differently.
For me, it's more than costumes.
It's five days dedicated to creativity, artistry, growth, and challenging myself to become just a little better than I was the year before.
This year's countdown begins with a reminder...
We all have a "dark side."
Not necessarily the evil parts of ourselves...
But the parts that ask to be acknowledged, understood, and nurtured instead of ignored.
Sometimes those are the very pieces that help us become whole.
Here's to another year of creating, learning, and feeding my soul through art.

There are moments in this career that remind me why I love what I do so much. 💖
This beautiful human first found me while preparing for one of the biggest milestones of her life. She was a bride-to-be who reached out for her magical enhancements, but also simply looking for a hair "refresh " before her wedding.
Somewhere along the way, our purpose for meeting shifted.
What started as a special occasion appointment became regular visits, genuine conversations, and the privilege of witnessing her life continue to evolve.
I treasure every connection that walks through my studio doors because every story matters.
But every now and then, I get the incredible honor of quietly watching someone's journey unfold over time... celebrating the wins, hearing about the changes, and simply being present for another chapter of their life.
That, to me, is the cherry on top of everything I love about this work.

For nearly two years, I've had the privilege of collaborating with six incredible women entrepreneurs on a project that is finally making its way into the world. ❤️
I'm finally sharing a story I've carried for a long time.
It was one of the hardest things I've ever written because it required me to own parts of myself I once thought needed fixing.
Sometimes becoming who you're meant to be requires unlearning who you thought you had to be.
If you've ever questioned yourself, hidden pieces of who you are, or felt called to something more aligned, I hope my story reminds you that you're allowed to take up space exactly as you are.
I'm incredibly proud to have contributed my chapter and can't wait to introduce you to the remarkable women who brought this project to life.
