This client wanted to have added depth, dimension and warmth to her naturally light hair.

If you have been thinking about going darker, keep reading for how I created this look.

We dropped my clients natural level 8 down 2 shades to warm level 6 from roots to ends at the nape area. This is where sun does not reach the hairline.
Our goal was to keep our client soft and natural without any hard lines coming off her part line.

We foiled in some baby lights around her face frame and the when back in with the level 6 in between the babylights and drug them down and strategically placed some lowlights throughout the back section to maintain the balance of hi & low lights.

This created the overall dimensional look while utilizing the lightness on her ends as part of my blended look.

The recommended maintenance for this look is to have my client come back in 12 weeks (which she already prebooked 👏🏼) for a reverse balayage.

In which i will go in with a root smudge to maintain the depth at the root and the underneath and foil in a strategic placement of lowlights.
Then finish with an overall gloss to keep her blonde fresh.

Then in the following 12 weeks we may wish to continue with some more babylights up top depending on how my client feels about her color at that time.

Lived in, low maintenance and loving her hair throughout the process!

For the client that feels their hair is consistently getting too dark and wants the hair color from when they were a child, this post is for you.

My client told me she didn’t feel bright enough and she wanted her hair to feel all over brighter and to mimic the tones that naturally occur in her hair.

We highlighted her entire head using Davines progress lightener with bond builder included in the service along with K18 PRO Stylist Community to prep to ensure the integrity of the hair. Leaving out minimal hair, keeping soft dimension with an all over cohesive blend.

The suggested maintenance for this look is as follows:
•In 8 weeks client returns for a Gloss refresh to maintain shine, brightness and dimension.
•In 12-14 weeks client returns for a Partial Custom Color highlighting the hairline, part line and crown, finishing with gloss & blowdry.
•Continue with every 3-4 months for Partial Custom Color until we feel the underneath needs to be done. Usually once a year.

This suggested maintenance ensures clients hair feels all over bright, warm, youthful and invokes the feeling of when she was a child.

I’m Lynda and I would love to let you into my world.
Because I am so much more than “hairstylist”
The one thing people ask me all the time is why I chose to move to Flagstaff?
I am originally from Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Not far from Philadelphia.
And the answer is, it was a calling on my heart I could no longer ignore. I started coming out here in 2016 for a Breathwork training and I was captivated by the west. I knew immediately that I wanted to move here but it had to be the right time. I kept traveling out to Flagstaff & Sedona and finally made the move in December 2025 and feel like my life is starting to click since listening to the call of my soul.
Aside from doing hair for almost 30 years now and being a Breathwork Facilitator, I am also certified in 4 different reiki modalities, I am a certified Avalon Rose Priestess, Shamanic Healer & deeply devoted to my path of service as a medicine woman.
As of recently I have committed to a year long apprenticeship in the Womb Oracle Arts and Akashic Records. 👁️

I have always been connected to my dreams, had visions and been a very sensitive, empathic soul.

What I love most about being a hairstylist is being a part of a creative community that spans the globe and being able to develop really intimate relationships with my clients who naturally let me into their life.

A 4 & 1/2 hour teasy light with root smudge and global gloss to keep her looking as natural as possible.

Toning the hair a bit deeper towards the scalp allows for a much more subtle blend when the gloss begins to fade and highlights begin to appear over time.

This gives you more longevity with your color and what else? You are ultimately spending less money on your hair !

I mean it’s a no brainer for me 🤷🏼‍♀️
