Hey friends!
It’s been a minute, so I figured it was probably time to actually introduce myself! 😂

I’m Nicole proud owner of Beauty Mark Salon, professional overthinker, serial entrepreneur, and someone whose brain apparently does NOT come with an off switch. If you’ve met me in person, you already know I cannot sit still and my business brain is constantly going 100 miles an hour. There’s always an idea, a project, or something I’m convinced we absolutely need to do. 😂

I opened Beauty Mark because I was tired of being put in a box.

What to wear.
How to act.
What tools to use.
What techniques were “acceptable.”
What beauty was supposed to look like.

And honestly? I’m over it.
Beauty is an art form. There are no boundaries to creativity, so why should there be boundaries placed on the artists creating it?

My goal with Beauty Mark has always been bigger than just hair. I wanted to create a space where beauty professionals can be themselves, grow, learn, create, and build a career without feeling like they have to fit someone else’s mold. A place where clients can walk through the doors without judgment and feel like they can actually be heard. Because how many times have you sat in a stylist’s chair with an amazing idea only to hear, “Oh, no. That wouldn’t look good on you”?

I’ve heard it more times than I can count.

I’ve also had clients come in wanting to grow their hair out, only to tell me, “Well, I’m at that age where I have to cut it.”

Ummm… WHY?! 😂

Who made that rule?!

If you love your long hair, KEEP THE DAMN HAIR.

We’re here to empower people, not take that power away from them. My job isn’t to tell you who you should be. It’s to help you become the version of yourself that YOU want to see in the mirror.

And when I’m not at the salon, you can usually find me with my family, my two dogs, and two cats probably gardening, canning something I absolutely did not need to can, coloring, or giving my husband yet another house project because apparently I love seeing him question his life choices. 🤣

I’m an old soul trying to survive this crazy world, build something meaningful, make people feel good about themselves, and hopefully leave things a little better than I found them.
