People often ask what it’s like owning my own business.

The truth is, it’s a lot of work. My weekends are usually spent with brides, and the weekdays are filled with emails, admin, timelines, social media, previews and everything else that happens behind the scenes.

Some days are really long.

But one thing I’ll never take for granted is the flexibility this career has given me.

I may work weekends and have late nights, but I also get to be there for spontaneous trips, school events, slow mornings, random trips to the park, and all the little moments in between. I get to build my schedule around my family instead of trying to fit my family around my schedule.

That’s why every early morning, every late night, and every hour behind the scenes is worth it.

I’m building a business I love while getting to be present for the people I love most. 🤍
