-Fridays were for hitting the disco, Saturdays for cruising Main Street, Sundays for pretending we did our homework.
-We spent weekends at drive-ins, not scrolling feeds. The only thing we swiped was a slice of pizza.
-Saturday night was for slow dances, not slow Wi-Fi.
-Weekends meant hanging out at the roller rink until your legs begged for mercy.
-The only notifications we got were our moms yelling, “Dinner’s ready!” from the porch.
-We didn’t have playlists—we had cassette tapes that always jammed halfway through your favorite song.
-Weekends were a mixtape of BBQ smoke, Polaroids, and someone’s uncle telling the same story for the 100th time!
