I’m excited to introduce a new service at Bodywork by Desiree — Silicone Cupping Therapy!

Silicone cupping is a gentle, modern approach to traditional cupping that uses soft, flexible cups to create suction on the skin. Unlike traditional stationary cupping, this technique allows for movement and flow, making it a comfortable and highly effective addition to your session.

Benefits of Silicone Cupping may include:
• Increased blood circulation
• Relief from muscle tension and tightness
• Improved lymphatic drainage
• Reduction in inflammation
• Enhanced recovery and relaxation
• Support for overall body balance

What to Expect:
During your session, soft silicone cups will be placed on the skin and may be gently glided over targeted areas. The sensation is often described as a light pulling or lifting feeling — many clients find it deeply relaxing.

You may notice mild redness or the typical “bruising” appearance in the treated areas afterward, which is completely normal and typically fades within a few days. Unlike traditional cupping, marks are usually lighter and less intense. **Marks DO NOT determine whether or not the cupping is effective. You MAY or MAY NOT have marks. The marks are NOT bruises.**

This service can be added to your massage session and incorporated into a customized treatment based on your body’s needs.

I’m happy to share that I will be offering sessions “as needed” at E.N.V.Y by Shoals Sugaring in Florence for the time being!

🗓 Availability will include:
• Occasional Saturdays
• Select Wednesdays or Thursdays here and there

This is a temporary location while I continue my journey toward creating the perfect new space for Bodywork by Desiree 💫

A quick, but IMPORTANT update. 🤍

My lease at Bloom Studios officially ends February 13th, and I’ll be taking a short break from massage as I transition into bigger and better things😉. If you don’t already have an appointment with me then now is the time to get in! I do not have an exact timeline of the move just yet, so be watching for updates! I have some SUPER exciting things in the works for the Shoals.

Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me, trusted me, and shown up for me along the way — I’m endlessly grateful. I’ve always claimed massage as a hobby rather than career, and I couldn’t be more excited to dive into my “dream”.
