As we celebrated 20 years in business this past June we have made the decision to close Salon Mod as of August 16th.
We are excited about the next step in our careers. We love each other enough that we all decided to head a few blocks down the street to Bloom Studios located at 410 S Pine st, where we will all have our own salon/spa space within. And there is PARKING!

Trigger points are so deceiving. They are a specific area of sore damaged muscle, usually from repetitive over use, that has tightened, and has less blood flow. Less blood flow means lack of oxygen and nutrients in the area, as well as more toxins. This example shows where this actual trigger point is between the shoulder blades, yet the pain pattern is continued up the back, over the shoulder and up the neck to the base of the skull. You can also see the other muscles and their amazing complexity of patterns. Knowledge of anatomy and muscles is necessary to know which areas to work to thoroughly relieve pain.
