This season of health & nutrition coaching is bringing me so much JOY 🙌 Coaching literally changes lives and not just for a moment….but skills are learned that help people forever! It’s not that I have a problem with other programs, supplements or even weight loss shots. However, there will never be anything more satisfying than teaching people to harness the power of whole food for their wellness regardless of whatever else is added in to help reach goals 🙌🙌 If you think it’s time to make a change lets connect. Just a few WINS from the last 6 months….
***one person lowered their total cholesterol over 20 points in 3 months. Along with all their other lipid numbers down into range.
***one person with limited movement down 17 lbs with some small and manageable tweaks
***A1c down 2 whole points for a client 🙌🙌
*** My own total cholesterol down 7 points in just under 2 months coming off a supplement that caused a sharp spike. Lowered my A1C from 5.1 to 4.9.
***one person with chronic constipation learned how the right food can help manage symptoms. The combo is unique to the person. What an upgrade in quality of life…if you’ve ever dealt with this issue.

When it’s Saturday and you want a treat for breakfast {or really anytime of the day} make sure it will actually keep you full 🙌 31 grams protein + 10 grams of fiber. Tastes like a gooey brownie but it’s going to keep me satisfied and fueled without a need for snacks. I’ve got 4 miles of walking to do today + cleaning + errands. Let’s goooo ✅

The next step is probably the most underrated activity and one of the most impactful activities to move the needle on your health and wellness.
If I was starting over this is the next step I would take in reclaiming my health and wellness. Remember, we aren’t just trying to fix one issue we are addressing you as a whole person. We are looking at your specific needs. Slow, steady and intentional will get you better, longer lasting and ultimately quicker results over time. Healthy habits compound.

This also goes hand in hand with my last video and what an awesome development 🙌🙌 Many who work in health and wellness from physicians to health coaches to dietitians have known for a while that widespread inflammation is a driver in disease development.
This isn’t something you can guess or estimate just because you feel good or bad. It’s blood work…🙌
Saturday I’ll do another video with what my next steps would be if I was starting this journey all over again….which i kind of did about a year and a half ago when hormonal chaos hit ❤️
Building off of my last video…once I really understood what my blood work looked like on a deeper level I was able to supplement very SIMPLY and be consistent. It has been a game changer to not feel like I need to take every mid life supplement out there and see good results 🙌
Knowledge =Power=Purpose
First and foremost we have to talk about using that number on the scale to assume we know exactly what’s happening with our bodies. Weight gain is like a signal for any number of things. Use it as such and not the sole diagnostic tool. I truly believe a change in your health and wellness that outlasts all the fads starts with this action 🙌❤️

I have worked really hard on my mindset with food over the last year. Yes, I’m thinking about what tastes good but I’m also thinking about how much nutrition I can pack in. How will this meal fuel me from one activity to the next? It’s easy to get caught up in asthetically pleasing Pinterest meals. Go for simplicity in your day to day and stay away from the latest and greatest fad.
Today’s breakfast:
1/2 tsp olive oil
2 eggs
2 servings egg whites
1 cup spinach
1 teaspoon of feta cheese
If I had half an avocado I’d add that. **

What better time to get back to posting on this page than “treat season”! I’ve been busy working on my Precision Nutrition Coaching Certification. I’ve also been busy navigating lots of personal health challenges the last year. I’ve shared some on my personal page but not much on here. I’d like to go back to separating the two again.
Look for some updates this week about nutrition coaching. Plus, I also have 2 in person personal training spots open. These are spots where I come to YOU and are only available on Tuesdays. If you want to see me in person I have any other day of the week open at Helen Keller WellCare.
