At Empire Beauty School, students learn nail-care skills as part of our broader cosmetology program. We do not currently offer a separate nail technology program.

Our Pre-Salon students showed off their skills by creating unique mannequin looks that combined hairstyling, makeup, creativity, and plenty of personality. From bold character-inspired designs to detailed braids, curls, color, and special-effects style makeup, each look was completely their own.

We love seeing our students step outside the box, practice their techniques, and bring their ideas to life. 💇‍♀️✨

👻 Indianapolis brought spooky season to the salon with students dressed as ghosts.
🎨 Cheltenham showed off student creativity at its “Fall into Beauty” showcase and “Split Personality” contest.
🖌️ Avondale added a splash of color with fall festival face painting.
🎓 Midlothian celebrated its students at the Fall Graduation Assembly.
💖 North Hills welcomed alum Carmella and JCPenney Salon Manager Amy for a visit full of connection and inspiration.
🧟 Reading’s “Salon Zombié” challenged students to pair up, each using one arm to wash and roll mannequins. Talk about teamwork!

💍✨ Last Friday was all about bridal beauty at Empire Beauty School Florence! ✨💍
Our Cosmetology and Esthetics students teamed up to create beautiful bridal-inspired looks.

Our Cosmetology students practiced elegant updos and special-occasion styling, while our Esthetics students completed the looks with soft, polished bridal makeup. 💇‍♀️💄

We love seeing our students collaborate, build confidence, and put their skills into practice with real models. The finished looks turned out beautifully! 🤍

Congratulations to Kylie Baughman on her promotion to Executive Director at Empire Beauty School in Indianapolis!

Kylie enrolled as a mother looking for a new direction. Her passion for skincare and makeup led her to Esthetics, then to roles as an educator, Assistant Director, and now Executive Director.

“I tell the students all the time that I was once in their shoes,” Kylie shares.

Today, she leads with heart, compassion, and an understanding of what it takes to pursue a new path.
