Hello everyone,

As many of you know, over the last few months Gurl Frnd’s Tanning Salon has been up for sale. While I was hopeful to find someone who could continue the business as-is, that hasn’t happened.

The business has been good to me, but more than anything, at this stage of my life I want to spend more time with my family while I still can.

So today I’m announcing that Gurl Frnd’s Tanning Salon will be closing for good at the end of the day on Saturday, August 15, 2026.

We will remain open as usual these next two weeks. If you have a tanning package, please come in and use it before we close.

As many of you know, I’ve been in this business for nearly 20 years. It’s been good to me, but more than anything, at this stage of my life I want to spend more time with my family while I still can.

A couple of months ago I announced I was going to close the salon. Honestly, I wasn’t prepared for the wonderful outpouring of love and support you all showed me.
