I finally found a hair product line I’m totally obsessed with!! I have been on the hunt for the best products for my clients since I opened my studio back in April. I always wanted a product line I personally was totally in love with, so after trying so many different kinds I found Monat. 🌿⁣

I chose Monat for myself because I have been really trying to become more conscious on my health & wellness over all including what I am putting on my skin, & on my hair! I really want to make sure the ingredients PREVENT aging, build up, & will help my hair grow in stronger then it has been. ⁣

For the past few years I really struggled with my hair being SO brittle & that’s why I have been wearing extensions! I am someone that uses heat on their hair almost DAILY. I needed more then a deep conditioning mask or a treatment that will last for 1 shampoo. ⁣

I still wear & LOVE my extensions but I want to make sure I’m taking care of my hair still no matter what. Also, to my extension girls, keep in mind your hair extensions are REAL HAIR. They will break and become dry just like normal hair if not treated well! ⁣

I can't believe its been 2 weeks since I started in my own studio. There have been so many ups & downs, tears, prayers, and gratitude that I have had in this short period of time. I have learned so much already and I seriously can not wait to see where it takes my career. Looking back and reflecting on where I started up until this last year I just keep feeling more aligned with my vision and purpose everyday. Each and every time I open the door and step into my little space all I can think is "I finally did It!". The vibe and energy is exactly what I need for me to be create the art that I love. I like to think of it as a safe haven for myself and my clients!

Moving forward with my business I have decided to only take color and extensions clients. I know a lot are thinking, why? I wanted to take a moment to touch base on this topic because its a huge change in my career. For the first time I am investing in my niche, investing in a education company I fully believe in and represent. The hair industry is always evolving. As an artist I'm constantly learning and growing as well. About 3 years ago I discovered hair extensions as a hairstylist and since then its always been an art that fuels me. I love to watch my client light up when they see themselves for the first time with their dream hair! One main reason why I love NBR and the art of hair extensions is for the simple fact that I to am a consumer. I have struggled with crappy hair that won't hold a damn curl. I wanted amazing hair but just naturally don't have that. I know the feeling all my clients have. Trust me, I get it! Thats why I invest in myself and my craft to deliver the most natural looking hair extensions on the market and to be able to be someone that could change a woman's life by simply giving her the opportunity to have just amazing hair for once!
