The first week is when my phone rings the most. “Is this swelling normal?” “Can I sleep on my side?” “When do I start drainage?”

So I put together the checklist I wish every client had on day one. Save it so it’s there when you need it, and send it to a friend who has surgery coming up.

One thing before everything else: your surgeon’s instructions always come first. This is a general guide, not a substitute for them.
