It has been a very very long journey for me finding products that are safer. I started way before there were paraben free labels on products. It started in 2003 after my Stage 4 Breast Cancer Diagnosis , It started the day I met Lynda Frank . She educated me on reading my labels for my my food, cleaning products and skincare products. My journey came to an end when I found Beautycounter. I am thankful that Gregg Renfrew started Beautycounter after she realized how bad our regulations are on what can be used in our products in the United States. (if only I had thought to start a company...right???) .

In 2003 you still had to ship organic foods from California or find a food co-op or pay an arm and a leg at some specialty grocer. We have come so incredibly far since 2003. Not just in organic food, but cancer treatments and longer life spans of patients with cancer , we have come a long way in preventing cancer and lowering the risk of cancer.

We still have a long way to go. Especially in our skincare products.

Over the last (almost 4 years) I have shared Beautycounter with over 375 people. That means I have educated these people about what is in their products and helped them make changes that will impact their future and their children's futures. I don't just sell products, I educate and share information and help people make significant changes in their lives, and not just with their skincare products. For me it's not just about selling people something. It is about making a difference. Creating Change. Doing Better and Doing Good. Whether someone buys something from me or not, I hope that they learn to look at their labels and make changes.

It has taken me over 3 years to hit this title of Senior Director. It happened through consistently sharing my passion with everyone I know. It also happened with the help of other equally passionate ladies that are on my team. These ladies have become my friends and my community in so many ways. I am so thankful for all of their support and help.

Tests ... just a day in the life of a cancer survivor. So thankful to have these tests to stay on top of my health. Not gonna lie I would rather be on my with and This morning but I don’t always get to make my own schedule. Tell med call later to get results. Praying they are excellent like in January !

I’ve been wanting to do a welcome “hi this is who I am “post and I keep getting distracted and don’t get it done.
So I’m just gonna do it now, it’s not going be perfect and as we go on you’ll get to know more about me. Basically I’m a wife, mom and stage 4 cancer survivor. . I have been married to my husband for 22 years , I have a wonderful son (40 )and daughter-in-law as well as a 19-year-old son and a 16-year-old daughter. We have 2 dogs (68lbs and 6 lbs)

I love the family time, the beach 🏖, puzzles, games, exercise and reading .
I am an extrovert I think but as I get older I really enjoy my time at home doing my thing . Hanging out with the dogs, taking care of my family , mentoring my team and sharing safer products. I love ccommunities and I love building a community among other women, supporting each other . I don’t believe that you can truly have a conversation with anyone that you have not built a relationship with.

my passion and vision for this Instagram page is to share hope with others and to share ways to live a healthier safer life. Through exercise healthy eating and safer products. I’ve learned through trial and error what works , what doesn’t work , what changes I can live with and what other changes need to be part of my 80/20. The many outfits of your annual check up. Not sure why I put lipstick on since no one got to see it. Had the most awesome news yesterday at my annual follow up for my brain no new lesions and I am still considered no evidence of disease. I’m so happy to get these great reports stay
