I have several nurses in my immediate family, and more friends and clients than I can count who are doctors, nurses, LPNs, nurse practitioners, and others in the medical field. Before anyone asks—yes, some are Republicans and some are Democrats.
Not one of them would ever wish harm on someone because of political beliefs. Why? Because they took an oath to care for everyone and to do no harm.
This is not a free speech issue.
My daughter was a labor and delivery nurse and now works with the elderly. She has cared for incredible mothers, addicted mothers, and everything in between. And every single one of them received the same level of care—the best care—regardless of her personal feelings or circumstances.
That is what professionalism, compassion, and integrity look like. These ( professionals) spewing some of the most horrible things I have ever heard come out of a woman's mouth especially should be held accountable and should never be able to practice medicine again because they're intent is not to heal it is to do harm!
