Okay, THIS is the kind of news I’ve been waiting for. 🥹🤍

If you’ve been in my chair for a while, you’ve probably heard me talk (and probably ramble 😂) about the ingredients in professional hair color and what long-term exposure can mean for us as hairstylists.

So when Paul Mitchell announced The Color Zero, I was ALL ears.

Permanent color. Without the ammonia, fragrance, or PPD.

And this isn’t just exciting because of what’s NOT in it. Making the switch means:

✨ Less exposure to ammonia for me behind the chair, day after day
✨ No ammonia odor
✨ Permanent color results without compromising on what I expect from a professional color line
✨ A step toward creating a healthier salon environment for both my clients and myself

As much as I love what I do, I also want to be able to do it for a VERY long time. Taking care of my health while taking care of my clients is something I take seriously.

So, come September, I’ll officially be making the switch to ammonia-free permanent color. 🥹
