This piece is deeply special to me; for a few reasons, but the most important is because it symbolizes .

The people that know me, know my big brother has suffered from serious mental illnesses. Growing up so close with him, I was often called “mother hen” from the amount of protection I had over him. The world is cruel and belittling him was common. I used to always reassure him that he was unique; like us all, but also special. The words, “I am enough” was what I told him to let him know he’s perfect just the way he is. Ironically, as I aged I realized that most of the time bullying came from someone that dealt with mental health issues themselves.

I, myself have had bouts of depression. Along with many people I know and love. The semi-colon at the end represents ***deAwareness — stating that ‘your story isn’t over yet’.

STATISTICALLY:
“1 in 20 U.S. adults experience serious mental illness each year. 1 in 6 U.S. youth aged 6-17 experience a mental health disorder each year. 50% of all lifetime mental illness begins by age 14, and 75% by age 24. Su***de is the second leading cause of death among people aged 10-34.”

As we’ve gotten into the first week back from spring break, we want to let you all know of a few announcements!

Now that Spring is in full force and Summer is nearing, We are in full pedi season, as well as the busiest time of the year. Appointments are filling up VERY quickly (Faster than normal) and we are booking out into August now.

If you have a certain date throughout the summer you’re trying to book (Vacations, weddings, Proms, Open Houses, ect.), please get with us to book those dates now!

Also, We HIGHLY recommend making sure your regular standings and/or future appointments are booked out several weeks. We can not guarantee dates and times will be available, if not.

Over the last couple months, We have been updating and adding new retail products to boutique and salon. Please take note to the salon’s menu, with updated services and price list.

Our boutique is growing! We have added several new products to our FHF products, including to our amazing Organic skin care line! This includes products we use for all of our facials and body wraps we have recently introduced to our growing service menu!

This week we will be adding several more NEW products and items! Don’t forget to check this out at your next visit!

We are booking for facials, body wraps, massages, and our Seasonal signature pedicure, along with the rest of the services we provide. Please call us for any questions regarding these services or bookings.
