High and Low Barbershop

The end of an era.

Every good story must have an ending, and after a decade behind the chair, I’m moving out of my suite and closing on October 1 as I transition into my new career in clinical psychology.
This is a deliberate new chapter, and I’m really excited about it.
I am however, proud of what we built here and grateful for everyone who trusted me with their hair and their time, especially over the last three years.
Plus, Taylor Swift just wrapped an era, so… I’m contractually obligated to do the same. 😏

I can’t believe it’s already been 3 years. Big thank you to ALL of you for not only helping me build this little barbershop, but keep it. I’m blessed.

I will be back this week!

This isn’t something I take lightly, but after a big rise in no-shows lately, it’s time to set some clearer boundaries. Most barbershops already run this way—I’m just catching up. As a small business owner, I only earn when someone’s in the chair. I truly appreciate your understanding and continued support.

Hey everyone! The wait is finally over—I went on an adventure to the Pensacola supply store and restocked all the good stuff, plus I even grabbed some new products!

I know some of you were waiting on certain products, but my memory is like trying to hold aftershave in my hands to put on your neck—slips away instantly. 😂

Surgery Update!
As promised, here’s the update on my surgery. I had the melanoma removed from my right arm on Friday morning, and they took out about a 6-inch section from my lower forearm. This has impacted my muscles and nerves, so my arm is a bit weak right now. (Don’t worry—my wrist movement is still fluid for fading, so no need to panic!)

I’m planning to be back at work on Thursday as promised, but I’ll be moving my arm slowly and only taking limited clients, at least until I get my stitches removed on the 27th. I may be reaching out to some of you to see if we can adjust appointments, as I have several days with 3-4 clients in a row.

Thank you so much for all your support—my little Nemo fin (aka my right forearm) has definitely been through the wringer over the years! 😂 Looking forward to seeing you all soon!

Hey friends, quick update! Life threw me a bit of a curveball last month—I was all set to have surgery for the melanoma on December 19th, but then I got sick the night before. (no one is surprised at my lack of good luck, lol)

Long story short, my surgery has been rescheduled for Friday, January 17th, and I’ll need a few days to rest.

Here’s the plan:
✂️ I’ll be out of the shop Friday, January 17th, through Thursday, January 23rd.
✂️ That means I’ll miss just a couple of workdays (Friday the 17th and Saturday the 18th, as well as Wednesday the 22nd and Thursday the 23rd)—so don’t worry, it’s not a full-blown disappearance!

So I’m back at work now until then regular hours, and I’ll be back in action and ready to get you looking sharp by Friday, January 24th.
