Hello beautiful souls,

It’s been a while since I’ve been active on social media but I’ve still been here providing services to make your skin glow.

However, I’ve come out to say that I am closing up shop. 🥲

I’ve gone back and forth on this decision but ultimately decided it’s in my best interest to close up. I have decided to follow a path I have been eyeing for a while. I have started the process to become and Ayurvedic Practitioner. This has been a goal of mine for the last two years but have continuously put on the back burners. With this schooling, I’ll be able to provide a deeper level of healing than ever before. I’ll learn how to treat the body from the inside out, which is something I have preached about in my practice. 💕

My career path has evolved as I have grown and this is just another step in that evolution. I may come back with a new business dedicated to Ayurvedic therapies and coaching or you may see me working at an Ayurvedic spa/clinic. I am open to the wonderful possibilities that this path holds. However, I am at the same time very sad to leave behind my current business and clients.

You have been so amazing to me these last two years. I cannot thank you enough for your support and I am so grateful to have had the success I have had. I hope you continue to follow me on my new journey as I will be sharing it on my Instagram page.

With all this being said, my last day to take appointments will be Saturday, August 27th. If you have a giftcard or credit with me, please reach out so I can get you booked to use it. If you are unable to come in, I am happy to give you a refund. Skincare in-shop will also be 20% off.

Why you’ll love eyebrow henna…

And why it’s the key to fuller, thicker but natural looking eyebrows!

First, what is it?
Henna has been used for thousands of years to transfer color onto skin and hair. It can be used to leave a sophisticated tattoo effect and well-defined brow when applied to the eyebrows. Supercilium Brow Henna (the brand I use) is a unique henna eyebrow tint product, based on the purest and finest henna from India. Supercilium Brow Henna is 88% natural henna and vegan. It takes 5 to 20 minutes to develop and it leaves a stain on the skin up to 14 days and on the hair up to 6 weeks.

Other things to know:

~ Services can be done every 3 to 4 weeks.
~ How long the tint lasts depends on you. Oils, cleansers, exfoliation, chlorine (from pools) and amount of sun exposure are some factors that may remove your tint quicker (especially on the skin).

Just a few reminders and notes for you :)

1. Booking
- Appointments can be booked 30 days in advance unless arrangements have been made with me.
- All appointments must be booked through the square site unless made in person or via phone. I will not be able to help with messages or comments on Instagram.
- Please confirm appointments in a timely manner. Text and email reminders are sent as early as 2 days before to allow proper time to cancel or reschedule. If you prefer phone call reminders, please let me know :)

2. Services
- Last month, there was a major change to facials. There are now time options and some services have gone away. The "Soul Purified" has replaced those services and now gives you the option to choose the length of your appointment. You facial will be completely customized to meet your needs in the given time frame. If there is any confusion or questions, please feel free to reach out.

3. COVID Safety
- If you suspect you are sick or have come in contact who is sick, please reach out as soon as you are aware of the situation. Your appointment can be rescheduled without fees as long as it is cancelled a minimum of 12 hours prior.
- Please continue to wear a mask while inside the salon. Masks can be removed once your service begins.

4. My Personal Number
- Please be aware that I soon will no longer have the phone number ending in 7864. The best way to reach me currently is email or submissions on my website. You may also reach me by responding to the automated text reminders.

2021 💖

Last night I took some time to go through my Instagram archive and had a realization. I’ve been so caught up in what is going to happen next that I forgot about things I’ve accomplished this year.

So here are a few highlights from my year:

🤍 Made a my first profit after a few months of business
🤍 Completed an Ayurvedic course
🤍 Leveled up my Instagram, went viral and had ONE reel reach almost half a million people 😱
🤍 Performed over 300 services and met over 200 lovely clients
🤍 Put my self out of my comfort zone in many different way. One included performing outdoor services in our salon courtyard

There were so many other things I did this year that I am proud of as a business owner, an esthetician and individual. I encourage you to take some time to reflect on your year as I’m sure it’s been a wild year for most and is so easy to forget what’s happened. Here’s to 2022 💖

Sometimes as an (solo) esthetician you feel like you need to offer everything to be able to cater to your clients in fear you might lose their business if you don’t. However, I realized that this kind of thinking is coming from the ego mind. The higher mind knows its okay to specialize in one or a few things, people actually love it! You can become a master in that area when you don’t have to give time to things that don’t fill your cup.
