Washing Your Hair Once a Week?
While some swear by infrequent hair washing, most experts recommend sudsing up at least twice weekly. Over-washing can lead to dryness and breakage, but under-washing might cause clogged follicles, scalp irritation, and even hair loss. The ideal frequency depends on your hair type and lifestyle.
Fine-haired folks, gym enthusiasts, and those in humid climates may need daily washes, while others can stretch it to every two or three days. Dry or curly-haired folks might go longer between washes. The key is finding your personal sweet spot—there's no one-size-fits-all scalp health routine.
As for me, having wavy/curly hair with a dry scalp my hair looks and feels it’s best when I wash it every 4-5 days.
How many days can you go without shampooing it?

There are some great deals on products and tools in this link. But when talking about the violet shampoo, I have personally never tried it. Because I have tried probably over a dozen different brands over the years and none of them seem to help! In fact the last one I tried on my natural white/silver hair due to some yellowing caused from ironing my hair, it turned all the pretty white and silver color blue and the yellowing was still there! It took a couple of shampoo treatments to remove it!
