For the past year and a half, Emma has been bringing her positive energy and hardworking spirit to Plum Natural Wellness! From whipping up delicious smoothies and elixirs to connecting with customers, Emma loves being part of the Plum family. And one of her favorite things about working here? She says the store always smells so good! 😊

Emma's connection to Plum goes way back. Her mom worked here before her, and Heather has known Emma since she was just six years old! Heather loves her incredible work ethic and willingness to jump in wherever she's needed.

When she's not working or attending school, Emma enjoys helping her sister with her three little ones, learning to skateboard, and dreaming about her next big adventure. After graduation, she hopes to travel the world, with Africa and Bali on her wish list! ✈️🌍

Just grab a bag, write the price per pound on the front, fill it up, and bring it to the counter — we’ll weigh it for you.

Buying by weight can also save money and reduce waste. For example, our cardamom pods are $85.75/lb, but the handful we needed cost just 86¢.

Need herbs for teas, cooking, seasonal routines, or DIY blends? Come explore the herb bar and take home exactly what works for you.

And if you’d rather skip the taste, we also carry clear gelatin and vegetarian capsules sold by weight.

Yesterday, as we closed for the day, we could see a lot of smoke billowing from downtown Forest City after the fire at the old Farmers Hardware building.

Like so many in our community, our hearts immediately went to the first responders who were running toward the danger, working for hours to protect the surrounding buildings and keep our downtown safe.

In place of our September Staff Picks, we want to focus on something that matters even more, gratitude.

To the firefighters, police officers, EMS, emergency personnel, and anyone directly involved in yesterday’s response — thank you. We are so grateful for the time, energy, and care you gave to our community.

Halotherapy, also known as salt therapy, is often used to support respiratory wellness, help ease inflammation and encourage clearer breathing — something we hope can offer a few peaceful minutes after such a difficult day.
