Hi everyone. As you’ve no doubt heard, we are now officially closed. This is no one’s fault, so there is no direction to turn to assign blame. Sometimes things just don’t turn out the way you hoped.

If you’d like to follow your stylist or colorist to their new home however (and you absolutely should), please email [email protected] or message us here. We’ll be happy to give you their contact information.

The Micciche family thanks our incredible customers and our fabulous friends, for what’s been a wonderful 38 years serving Forest Hills. We have truly loved every moment.

Good morning everyone! A quick note to let you know we will be doing some work in the shop today, so our phone lines will be closed. We will be back open to receive your calls tomorrow!

And as a side-note, because we don’t want to put too much juice into it, we’ll just say “don’t believe every rumor you read on Facebook” 😉

Good afternoon everyone! Our apologies, an update was supposed to be shared this morning, but was missed.

As you might be aware though, we are closed today. Our building has engaged in some repairs to the front of the shop, and unfortunately no one can enter. So with that, it was necessary to close up shop for the day.

We apologize for any inconvenience, and we will see you tomorrow!

A very good afternoon everyone! We would like to update you all as to the changes to the Covid guidelines, and what they’ll mean for guests at Micciche Salon.

As of this past Monday, vaccine mandates for visitors to NYC businesses have been rolled back. Likewise, masking is now optional. We will be complying with these updates, as we have throughout the pandemic. So as of this week, we will not be enforcing any masking, nor asking for proof of vaccination!

Now, if you would prefer to be masked, that is of course your choice! In fact, if you prefer a private setting, we can also likely accommodate. We can make use of one of our service rooms your appointment, as long as your service allows! Just let us know at the time of booking!

This is a very good thing though, and represents NY finally beginning to move on from this now 2 year long ordeal!

We wanted to let everyone know that we will be closed tomorrow, January 29th, due to the snow storm. We waited as long as possible to see if the course of the weather would change, but it looks as though we’re to expect a lot of snow and high winds!

If you had an appointment scheduled, you should have received a telephone call already (please check your VM!). We greatly apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and appreciate your understanding.
