Kelly & Tracy had an absolute blast at Monday’s Forest Lake Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament! Lots of laughs, and a few questionable golf shots 😉, it was the perfect day to connect with fellow local businesses.

We always love teaming up with Corina from Artistry Aesthetics and new this year: Jody from 180Fit, Forest Lake’s newest gym! Thanks for making a hot day on the course even more fun!

✨🎓 Upcoming Graduate Spotlight: Kennedy 🎓✨

Kennedy's passion for cosmetology started with something simple: making people feel beautiful and confident. 💙

Originally from Forest Lake, she chose The Salon Professional Academy because it was close to home and offered the smaller class sizes she was looking for. Since then, one of her favorite parts of school has been working alongside the friends she's made along the way.

When it comes to services, you'll usually find Kennedy with a stack of foils in hand! ✨ She loves creating dimensional color and has learned that there are so many different ways to achieve a beautiful result—a lesson that's helped her grow both her creativity and confidence behind the chair.

As graduation approaches, Kennedy is excited to start the next chapter by building her clientele at her new salon. Her biggest piece of advice for anyone thinking about beauty school?

From the very beginning, Sophia knew she wanted a career that combined creativity with helping others feel their best—and cosmetology has been the perfect fit. 💙

What she loves most about this industry is the opportunity to help clients feel confident and beautiful while continuing to grow as a stylist. Whether it's learning new techniques, keeping up with trends, or perfecting her craft, Sophia loves that there's always something new to discover. Her goal is simple: to make every client feel welcome, comfortable, heard, and leave her chair feeling like the best version of themselves.

She chose The Salon Professional Academy because of the small class sizes and the opportunity for personalized, hands-on education. Along the way, one of her favorite parts of the experience has been sharing it with the friends she's made at school.

✨ If you ask Sophia what her favorite service is, the answer is easy—blonding and foils! She also loves discovering the many different techniques that can create beautiful results, allowing her to find the methods that fit her style best.

After graduation, Sophia is excited to begin building her clientele, continue expanding her skills, and create lasting relationships with the clients who trust her behind the chair.

Her advice for future students is one worth remembering:
