Dennis has been running (literally) by my booth at the Brick Farmer’s Market for years. He’d stop by and get his soaps and we’d break into deep conversations about life, spirituality, and family.

Someone asked me recently about my closing rate when I try to sell Savvy Fit Soaps to people. I told them 95%.
When I talk to people about my products and find out what people need to fulfill their lives, Savvy is an easy fit.
The stories and needs are mostly superficial and it’s all about feeling and smelling good, moisturizing and resting assured it’s natural.
Today for some reason, my closing rate was at 50% just after stating this, and a specific someone’s reason for approaching me was beyond critical. Usually events are light and flirty almost, today was heavy and serious. It reminded me that I don’t “close anyone.” God (the universal soul) sends the people, the ease, the issue, the community of purpose. Be grateful for the simple things in life, like the health of you and you loved ones.

This is Todd Beamer. He was the man who got off the phone, after learning about the first 2 planes hitting the towers, and made the decision that his plane needed to be taken back. They crashed in Pennsylvania instead of somewhere intensely more meaningful.
Always have courage. Live abundantly, for everyone who lost their life on 9/11. 🙏 It’s not too late to ask for help if your life felt shattered by losses this day.
