Why was Satin Facial Scrub, Mint reformulated?
Young Living is always looking for ways to improve our products. We saw an opportunity to make this product 100% naturally derived, and the new formula better fits our vision and the needs of our members.

What are the differences between the two formulas?
Satin Facial Scrub is now a 100% naturally-derived formula. We have removed wheat and soy proteins from the formula and have also added raspberry fruit extract (to act as an antioxidant), and apricot seed (as a natural exfoliant). These additions have also changed the texture and consistency of the product for a more gentle and moisturizing experience.

For those waiting on orders! Shipping Update from Jeff Pearson

We’ve been asking you to get holiday orders in by December 15, so they would reach you by Christmas. To help us keep up with continual increased orders and expanded seasonal shipping pressure from general market growth, we’re now encouraging our members to get their orders in by tomorrow, Thursday, December 14, at 12 p.m., MT.
Our East Coast members should consider expedited shipping, given possible weather and other lags at this touchpoint, which Young Living cannot control. For other members, however, please note that an increased number of expedited shipping orders can actually place further strain on the distribution team, adding to potential processing delays. By adjusting our shipping deadline, we’re confident that we’ll be able to bring all our members the holiday treasures they’ve ordered.
In the third and fourth quarters of 2017, our members have added an average of 13 more items to their orders than in previous months, for an average of 20 units per order. This past weekend, we experienced a peak load of 42 units per order! We are sending out 16 million additional units and 500,000 more orders than last year! While we are thrilled about this growth and what it means to our members’ business building, it has led to fewer individuals receiving their products on time. Stay tuned for news about increased capacity in 2018!

Notes about shipping

Today, we’re working on fulfilling ground orders from November 30 to December 1 and expedited orders from December 13.
As you may be aware, our orders are fulfilled each day beginning with expedited orders, then moving to ship items based on date of purchase. However, if an order is placed but contains an item that is on backorder when we are fulfilling orders for the date it was processed, the item on backorder is temporarily skipped until the item is released from backorder or a solution is found. When the item is released from backorder or a solution is found, we then go back to ship the item(s) that were temporarily skipped on previous dates after all expedited orders are fulfilled.
If an order is placed with multiple items, but one is on backorder, we will ship the items not on backorder and then ship the backorder item when it is available. PSKs with diffusers are considered a single item; and thus, the kit and diffuser will be shipped together as a single item. We do not hold an entire order unless the item on backorder is expected to be released for shipment within 24 hours.
For example:
1. An order that is placed November 30 has an item that is placed on backorder, and the item is temporarily skipped on the date YL is fulfilling November 30 orders.
2. On December 13, the backordered item comes back in stock, or a solution to replace it is approved, releasing the item from backorder status.
3. On December 13, all expedited orders placed on December 13 will be fulfilled first, and then all backorder status item orders placed on November 30 will be next in queue, followed by ground orders YL is fulfilling on December 13.
For members who purchased a PSK with Home or Dewdrop diffuser that is currently in backorder status, please rest assured that we are still working toward our goal of having these shipped to members by Thursday, December 14. These orders will continue to show as backordered until the packing slip for the individual order has been printed for shipment, but they are still being worked on and will be fulfilled.
These orders were placed on backorder status before or during the workaround solution to send the Desert Mist diffuser as a replacement, and we have enough stock to fulfill the number of orders still waiting to be shipped.
We have three teams assembled to help fulfill these remaining orders and are working as quickly as possible to ship them all by Thursday.
We hope this explanation of our fulfillment process is helpful, and we are truly sorry for any inconvenience you and your teams may be experiencing. We will keep you updated with progress on this matter regularly. Feel free to pass the information above on to others in your organization.
