🔴 The Cycle of Domestic Violence:
Abuse often escalates in stages, starting small and building over time. Here’s a breakdown of how violence can start:

➡️Tension-Building Phase
Small arguments or frustrations escalate.
Victim feels like they’re walking on eggshells.
Abuser may start to show signs of frustration, becoming irritable or upset over minor issues.
➡️Incident of Abuse
The abuser lashes out—verbally, emotionally, or physically.
The victim may be humiliated, intimidated, or hurt.
This stage can include name-calling, pushing, hitting, or threats.
➡️Reconciliation or “Honeymoon” Phase
The abuser apologizes, expresses regret, or showers the victim with affection and promises to change.
The victim may feel hopeful or believe the violence won’t happen again.
➡️Calm or “Normal” Phase
For a while, things may seem normal, or the abuser may appear to be “better.”
The cycle may repeat itself, gradually escalating over time, until the abuse becomes more frequent and severe.

As a woman supporter, I take pride in being part of your self-care journey. From your wedding day to your weekly glow-up, I’m here to guide you every step of the way. My favorite part of what I do?
