Bubble Salon is a small, non-toxic hair salon located in a Fort Collins neighborhood. Book online at thebubblesalon.com Bubble is designed to focus on you.
Licensed hair stylist Jessie Moench offers her clients salon quality hair services within the comfort of a home. Where Bubble Began
The concept for Bubble began early in my career as a hairstylist. It was the first week of my program; I was in color class and it was highlights day. Twenty students opened up cans of powdered bleach in a poorly ventalated room, and that was it. My eyes swel

Hey everyone!
I am finally stating to feel like myself again.
Today is 11 weeks since my full hysterectomy.
The change in hormones has been rough. I spent the last two months suffering from daily migraines. My body is tired and trying desperately to adjust. I’m finally starting to experience less daily pain than I did before my surgery, but recovery is slow and unpredictable.
I appreciate all of you being patient as I continue to recover. I’m closer than ever to opening my books, but unfortunately I’m still getting regular migraines that I can’t predict.
I’ll post on here as soon as I’m able to see hair clients again. Miss you all 🥰

Hi everyone!
As most of you know, Bubble Salon has not yet opened.
For most of my life I have dealt with chronic pain. Many of you have had to support me by rescheduling appointments or dealing with cancellations due to sudden symptoms.
Over the pandemic, my chronic pain and symptoms got so bad that I was bed ridden roughly 12 days a month. I sought help with a surgical specialist.
5 weeks ago I underwent a major surgery for endometriosis. It was extensive and has an unpredictable, but lengthy, recovery period.
I am fully vaccinated and I do plan on opening my salon again, but I am still in my recovery period and not quite sure when I can open my books again.
I will post on here and try to text who I can when I am taking clients again. Thanks for your support!

FYI - Bubble Salon will remain closed.
After taking into consideration the high risk of CO-VID 19 transmission in a small, enclosed space for extended periods of time, I have decided it continues to be too risky to open up my books.
Like many of you, I have seen through experiences of my friends and family just how devastating and contagious CO-VID 19 is, and I am simply not comfortable performing services knowing both myself and many of my clients are in the high risk category.
I also have been physically unable to do hair for over 3 months due to symptoms from my chronic illness, so it seems I don't have much of a choice when it comes to opening my doors.
I have not and will not forget a single one of you. Doing hair is my passion and my clients are my community. I miss you all dearly and think of you often. Feel free to reach out and say hello - betcha I'm over here missing you, also.
Thank you for continuing to keep Bubble Salon open for all of these years.
The moment it becomes safe and healthy to perform hair services again, you bet I'll be posting on here and texting whoever I can.
In the meantime I'll be working at Moonmen Bikes and also continuing to make & sell jewelry at www.bubblebeadwork.com and here on Bubble Beadwork - check it out if you're interested in some unique wearable art!
If you need hair product or some color, I can likely help you out! Just text me at 314-703-0152. I'll post on here any new products or colors I'll be selling for you to apply.
Thanks again for all of the support. I miss you all and am sending each of you love & calm in all of this chaos.

Hello clients, friends and family!
FYI - Bubble Salon will NOT be opening on May 1st.
CO state has lifted the stay at home order and is allowing salons to open up, but I do not believe we have the adequate knowledge on this virus to ensure safety of both client and stylist.
I have studied how CO-VID 19 is spread amongst individuals. I have also thoroughly read through the sanitation and precautionary guidelines for salons. The protection is simply inadequate.
I, like many stylists, am not able to obtain proper protection and sanitation equipment required as per guidelines at this time. And even if I could, having read the science behind the spread of CO-VID 19 - I cannot guarantee the safety of myself or my clients.
My hair sessions last 1 - 6 hours, during which my clients cannot wear a mask as I am actively doing their hair. We are in an enclosed space and standing closely for long periods of time.
How can I guarantee their safety or my own?
The truth is I cannot. And until I can, I value both of our lives more than my business/profit. I would rather keep my business closed than risk loosing anyone's health.
I feel so much loss around not seeing all of you. I miss your faces and hearing how you are all doing. I miss getting to know each of you better during our sessions. I miss being creative and collaborative with you. I miss getting to make your look match the way you feel.
I will be reassessing things on June 1st to give us all time to adjust and better understand how to protect ourselves and each other.
Thank you all for supporting me through thick and thin.
I hope you all are well and staying safe.

Hope you are all staying calm and healthy through these chaotic times.
While the salon is temporarily closed, I have taken on a volunteer position at Masks Now as Colorado State Lead.

As far as hair goes - I want to let you know I am still here for you to sell hair product - delivered by curbside drop off or pick up of course. Just message or text me at 314-703-0152 and I can hook you up to fulfill all of those hair care needs!
Thanks to all of you for continuing to keep me and my business in mind as we make our way through this tough time. I have been thinking of you all and missing seeing your faces.

Well, it’s official. Hair salons in Colorado are now closed. And I’m happy to shut my doors if it means keeping my clients safe.
Thank you to everyone of you that choose to support me and my small business.
I’ll do my best to hold down the fort until I can see my clients again. If you would like to purchase a gift certificate, Bubble Beadwork jewelry, or hair product - message/text and I can hook you up!
And of course I’ll be posting on here the MOMENT I am able to take appointments again. I’ll miss you all until then!
In the meantime, please do what you can to stay healthy and calm. And don’t forget, we are all in this together.
Love to all of ya.
