Celebrating the Summer Solstice - Womyn’s Circle
Saturday, June 27th | 6-8 pm | $35
As the sun reaches its peak in the sky, so to do we feel the peak of our energy throughout the year. Our desire to be out in the world, spending time with loved ones, and enjoying all that life has to offer is at its strongest.
In this circle we will be honoring the energy of the Summer as we meet to celebrate the glory of life, the glory of friendship and connection, and the glory of being alive in our human bodies through ritual, poetry, meditation, and dance.
We will sit in circle, do a guided meditation, ecstatic dancing, and open the circle for sacred sharing and space holding.
These circles offer opportunities to take part in a ritual gathering to facilitate reverence and sacredness in our lives. They offer the perfect opportunity to come together, take a sacred pause, and reflect on where we are and how we can support ourselves and each other during each season
Women, Femme & non-binary folx welcome.

What you think you need vs what you actually need! PART TWO
Why Lovage over Osha? While they both support respiratory and digestive health, lovage is a more sustainable option. Osha is an endangered species here in the Rocky Mountains so by using Lovage you can support your respiratory system and digestive system without the environmental harm
You love Slippery Elm bark but go with Marshmallow- because even though they both can create mucilage to help with an inflamed gut that needs overall support with digestion, Marshmallow root is a more sustainable option. Whereas Slippery elm bark comes from a tree making it less sustainable medicine and you can grow Marshmallow right here in your own back yard
So why Ashwagandha over Rhodiola?? You might be catching a theme here- both herbs are supportive in relieving stress related burn out, fighting anxiety, combating fatigue and providing more vitality for the body but Ashwagandha is the more sustainable option that can give you similar results
When choosing herbs it’s not always best to choose what’s most popular or what you see most on social media. Diving into the plant and understanding WHY you want to use it and the environmental impact of that plant is a huge part of the process.
If you need support on choosing the right plant for your journey come talk to one of our on staff herbalists!
