Social Distancing, Plastic Shields, and Forget About Blowouts: What the Post-Pandemic Hair Salon Might Look Like Facing financial strain and an uncertain future, hair-salon owners are working not just to reopen their doors as coronavirus restrictions ease but also to imagine a new future.

We at Molly's are working tirelessly to set up all the proper protocol for operating a salon during a pandemic. We will have a a whole new set of guidelines for stylists and clients alike. We can only operate at half the capacity. We can only have two stylists working at a time and with the new protocol our services will require more time, therefore only allowing us to see less than half of our normal clients. We are baby stepping into the new normal. We will get back to you as soon as we can, but please realize it may be weeks before we are able to see everyone. As of this moment, these are the requirements to get a service:

CUSTOMER REQUIREMENTS

1. Appointment Only-make sure they give us a number we will be able to text when they arrive.
2. Clients must wait in the car until they are signaled to come in-text or gesture
3. Clients MUST wear a mask that fits around the ears at all times.
4. MUST get their temperature taken BEFORE entering the shop and answer symptom tracker
form.
5. MUST sign symptom tracker and liability form BEFORE service.
6. Only the person receiving a service may enter the shop. We will have no one sitting in the
waiting area. If children are getting a service, they are required to come in by themselves and
MUST also wear mask at all times.
NO beard trims allowed
NO waxing
NO blow drying
NO shampoo, unless receiving a chemical service

Everything is constantly changing,we appreciate your patience , support and kindness. We are all trying to do the best we can to keep one and all "safe" during the Covid19 pandemic and always. We miss you all and hope you're well. Thank you.

We at Molly's know everyone is eager for a little self care. We have been given our guidelines, which in fact has made us even more unsure. What is giving us pause is every other business is being given social distancing guidelines, we can not. We are busy trying to gather supplies we will need, figuring out protocols etc. As of this moment, we have no date of when we will accept clients, despite the powers at be saying we can open. We are keeping a running list of people wanting appointments and will get back to you when we have more definitive answers. We feel very overwhelmed and want to ensure we are doing everything we can to protect one and all. Thank you for your patience and support.

We would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of support Molly's has received throughout this pandemic. We are missing you all. Governor Polis has stated salons can open April 27th, though we have not been given the okay through other various agencies set up to keep us all safe. Our licences are on hold till at least May 1st. We are waiting for guidelines on how to safely operate a salon when social distancing is not an option. As soon as we receive more information, we will have a better idea of an opening date. We are checking our messages and keeping a running list of client calls. We will return your calls in the order they were received. We will also update on Facebook as soon as we know anything. The state has ordered all salons to shut their doors till April 30th. For future appointments, you can call the shop and leave a message with your name and number. We will write them down on a first come first serve basis. We are reluctant to pre-book seeing how things are changing so rapidly. I'm not sure how the future will look and want to take a moment to breathe.We will start returning calls when we have more information. Thank you for your patience.Stay well

In response to COVID and for the safety of clients, family, friends and ourselves, Molly's Salon will close it's doors for a minimum of 2 weeks.. We will reassess as more information is available. We're riding the wave of unknowns. We thank you all for your wonderful support and look forward to seeing all your bright faces in the near future.
