Showing up messy, without a plan or direction at the moment beats not showing up at all, here we go.

I know it sounds so simple…

but the moment I realized anxiety comes from the enemy, it has drastically changed how I navigate certain situations.

there’s a reason the Bible says “do not fear” nearly 365 times. it’s because everyday that we are here on this earth we have to lean on Him to be our strength.

you can break free from anxiety, and I’m learning how to do that one step at a time, and it all starts with having a close relationship with the Lord and being in constant prayer with Him about my struggles.

God hears our cries.

i had an incident just a few days ago when Nate was on shift, it was late, kids were asleep already and my face started tingling, hands were getting stiff, knots in my stomach- I knew exactly what was happening. I began to pray and pray and pray, walked around the house for a while, sang worship songs, turned a lamp on so it was nice and dim, laid back down, and fell asleep praying. Woke up to the morning light and realized God answered my prayer by allowing me to relax just enough to fall asleep. I’m so grateful for that moment because I could literally feel the anxiousness leaving my body and how cool I fell asleep talking with Jesus.

it’s still a work in progress, but I’m learning I don’t have to conquer this alone- in fact I quite literally can’t.
