I created most of my formulas through feedback and observation from real people and in a clinical setting over nearly two decades. For each of my essential oil blends I start with a firm grasp on the science and principals of classical, chemistry-based aromatherapy, human anatomy and physiology, aspects of energetic medicine, and the use of essential oils for psycho-spiritual disharmonies. To this I then add my own intention, artful blending and intuitive insight developed over many years. All of these elements come together in complex and well-rounded synergies that can support a return to balance on all levels. What is a “synergy”? An essential oil synergy is created by combining the therapeutic actions of individual oils into aromatically balanced blends that are allowed to mature into a beautifully unified aroma. In a balanced synergy the whole is more potent and complex than the sum of its parts. Natural remedies, whether herbs, essential oils, vitamins, etc. are powerful healing allies that should always be viewed as assisting therapies and not a singular solution to maintaining good health. When used in isolation, as one would a drug therapy, they don’t work as well, but excel when used in concert with additional movement towards a whole and balanced life. They are best used only when necessary and in conjunction with a healthy lifestyle rich in real food, physical exercise, meaningful interests, love and support, a sense of community, soul work, and a productive and cooperative relationship with a good health advisor. GENUINE AND AUTHENTIC
I use only the highest quality, genuine and authentic essential oils, sourced from just a few trusted suppliers that I have worked with for nearly two decades. Genuine and authentic means that the source and substance of the oil is known and verified through chemical analysis, and is chemotyped when appropriate. Plants of the same species may have different predominant chemical profiles, or chemotypes, depending on where and under what conditions they were grown and at what point in the season they were harvested, and how they were processed. These varying chemical profiles determine the therapeutic effects of the oil. Plant and Spirit products and statements have not been evaluated by the FDA.
