The Modern Mom & Her Herbal Allies- A Love Story💕

As a full time Mom of a baby and a toddler, a full time employee of one company, a part time employee of another company, the owner of two of her own companies and an online student, I often feel overwhelmed. I am constantly in a jungle of toys and overflowing laundry. I wake up exhausted from a night of little sleep as the baby is still breastfeeding. I get up two hours before anyone else tries to catch up on what didn't get done the day before. My children always needing something from me. I pause my work flow three times a day to cook healthy meals, more pausing to play with my toddler, more pausing to help my baby learn to walk and explore, more pausing to run to the grocery store or to play dates. Peoples need of me and my to-do list never subside or diminish, they only increase as the days go by. This is the life of the Modern Mom. No one asks me what I need to rebalance myself. No one asks me what they can do to help my nervous system escape from the constant stress. That constant fight or flight mode of never having a day to rest.

As an herbalist I have learned the practice of asking myself "what does my body need today?" What support do I need to get through this day, this morning, this moment. Today it was.... A hug. Comfort. Support. Protection. Boundaries.
