The Gentle Daily Cleanser is a non-foaming emulsified gel-cream cleanser that works well for all skin types, and is safe for use in all skin tones. It is packed with skin-beneficial ingredients like organic aloe hydrosol, aloe, and fatty acids derived from organic flax seed, sunflower seed, and mahua seed oils. This creamy gel contains gentle but highly effective pH-balanced cleansers derived from coconuts, as well as natural origin preservatives that will not adversely affect the skin's delicate microbiome. The formula has been mindfully designed to be safe for sensitive skin, and for those who suffer from skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis. It can be used morning and night in normal, combination, oily, or blemish-prone skin; dry to very dry skin types should generally only cleanse with oil-based cleansers, but those with dry/very dry skin can still use Gentle Daily Cleanser when additional cleansing is needed.

VEGAN, non-GMO, gluten-free, dairy-free and does not contain silicones, petrolatum, mineral oil, ozokerite, paraffin, lanolin, soybean oil, corn oil, canola oil, synthetic fragrances or synthetic preservatives. Please allow time for manufacture, packaging and shipping!

Directions: Dispense a marble-sized amount onto damp fingers and apply evenly to dampened skin of face and neck. Massage with fingers for a minimum of 60 seconds, then rinse with tepid-to-warm water. Pat dry and follow with serum, then day or night moisturizer (recommended: Night Renew or Clear & Bright). Always wear SPF of at least 30 during the day.

How to incorporate Gentle Daily Cleanser into a double-cleanse routine: This formula is excellent as Step 2 in a double-cleanse process to remove makeup and sunscreen. Double-cleansing is very effective for those with oily/blemish-prone skin because it removes pore clogging makeup and sunscreen more effectively than a single-step cleanse, yet does not strip the skin nor leave behind any oily residue. For Step 1, use an oil cleanser, an oily gel, or a cleansing balm and massage well to remove makeup and sunscreen. If your oil cleanser emulsifies with water, massage with some warm water and rinse; if it does not emulsify with water, wipe clean using a warm damp cloth. Next, cleanse any remaining oily residue from your skin using the Gentle Daily Cleanser. Dispense a marble-sized amount onto damp fingers and apply evenly to dampened skin of face and neck. About the ingredients:

Aloe vera hydrosol: organic; provides soothing and healing support to skin and serves as a water source for diluting active ingredients to a skin-safe concentration.
Coco-betaine: ECOCERT-approved, naturally-derived surfactant made from coconut oil. Not to be confused with it's cousin cocomidopropyl betaine; coco-betaine is less chemically manipulated and gentler.
Sodium cocoyl isethionate: Very gentle and naturally-derived surfactant made from coconut oil. Commonly known as "baby foam" due to its exceptional mildness.
Sodium C14-16 olefin sulfonate: an ECOCERT-approved, naturally derived, sulfate-alternative cleanser made from coconut oil. This cleanser imparts effective but mild cleansing to the formula.
Glycerin: organic and derived from non-GMO mustard seeds and soybeans (does not contain any soy); this humectant draws water from the cleanser and air into the skin to keep cells soft and healthy with moisture.
Allantoin: a triple-duty ingredient that serves as an emollient, skin protectant and antioxidant. Soothes irritated and sensitive skin and supports cellular renewal.
Glyceryl monostearate: produced from cold-pressed organic flax seed and sunflower oils; acts as a mild emulsifier and thickener.
Stearic acid: fatty acid extracted from cold-pressed organic flax seed and mahua seed oils; acts as a thickener.
Cetyl alcohol: naturally derived ECOCERT-approved non-GMO moisturizing thickening and emulsifying wax made from RSPO sustainable palm oil. Not to be confused with rubbing alcohol!
Aloe 200x powder: highly concentrated juice from the aloe vera plant that provides soothing and healing support to skin.
Vitamin E: antioxidant that extends the shelf life of natural oils, as well as soothes and supports skin healing.
Gluconolactone, sodium benzoate: a dual-purpose natural ECOCERT-approved preservative and mild poly-hydroxy acid system that also supports skin's natural cell renewal process; made from non-GMO corn.
Sodium phytate: a natural chelating agent derived from various seeds that functions as an antioxidant, stabilizer and shelf-life extender, among many other benefits.
Essential oils and/or natural extracts (not present in Unscented): natural scents that can impart skin benefits.
Xanthan gum: natural gum thickener and emulsion stabilizer made from cassava root.
Citric acid: natural pH adjuster.
