The best advertising sometimes happens in a bathroom. 😂
A stranger stopped Maureen at a country club to tell her she had beautiful hair, and asked who she went to.
No dramatic makeover. Just soft, dimensional color and a haircut that works beautifully together.

Loyalty pays off and sometimes it comes with photographic evidence. 😂
When you’ve been with the same hairstylist for a while, we have an archive: previous colors, formulas, photos, and all the little changes made along the way.
Because when a color transition happens slowly and safely, it can be difficult to notice just how far we’ve come. You see yourself every day, and I see the hair changing one appointment at a time.
Then we put the photos next to each other…and there it is.
From deep purple to a much softer, lighter, dimensional color. We still don’t know exactly where we’ll stop, and that’s perfectly fine. We’re exploring the options while allowing her hair to guide the process.
Pictures don’t lie. Although salon lighting occasionally tries. 😂

My client came from the Bahamas for this gray blending . 💛
Her goal wasn’t to hide every gray.
She was ready to stop chasing the blonde and make the hair she naturally has look polished.
We softened the warmth, blended the remaining color and cleaned up the shape.
The silver was already beautiful, it just needed the old blonde to stop arguing with it.

Today’s unexpected plot twist… 😂
A cancellation left me with a free morning, so I decided it was finally time to highlight my own hair.
Two hours and a head full of foils later, there was a knock at the door, a familiar face arriving for what she believed was her appointment.
A little calendar mix-up, two foil-covered heads, and one very unusual salon visit later… we had to take a picture. 😂
The day definitely didn’t go according to plan, but sometimes those are the moments that make the best memories. And no, I don’t normally work on clients while wearing a full head of foils. 🤣
Not every consultation ends with scheduling highlights & lowlights.and sometimes the best gray-blending plan is to leave the color alone.
She came in for a consultation with one clear goal: she never wanted to cover her gray again.
Because she already had significant natural regrowth and her gray was especially dominant around her face, I didn’t feel that adding highlights or lowlights would truly benefit her.
It would have meant coloring hair she had worked patiently to grow out.
So we chose a simpler plan: let her natural color continue to grow and use the haircut to clean up the shape, remove tired ends, and give her hair movement again.
No color. No unnecessary service. Just a thoughtful haircut and a plan that supports where she wants her hair to go.

Is it the color?
The cut?
The blowout?
Never mind. It’s the whole thing 🤍💛

A fresh cut, a softer blend, and a beautiful new way to wear her natural silver. 🤍
The shorter shape gives her hair more fullness, while the cooler tones make everything feel polished and connected.
She didn’t need to go blonde.
She needed better dimension. 🤎
Soft highlights, balanced warmth, and a much smoother blend.
Her goal was to grow out her natural gray and soften the transition.
But every time she mentioned gray blending to her previous stylist, she ended up with more highlights and warm, brassy lowlights. More color, more maintenance, same exhausting circle. ⭕️
This time, we changed the direction.
I added a few brighter pieces around the front to connect with her natural gray, darkened and neutralized the overly light lengths, and preserved a few fine slices of her existing highlights for soft dimension.
The result is not about covering every gray or making the hair instantly silver. It is about creating a calmer, more balanced canvas so her natural root can finally grow in without fighting against the rest of her hair
