We have been in business for 16 years at this location. Guys & Dolls Hair Salon was started in the 1980's by Dana & Linda and was based on Sunrise & A1A for the longest time. Francisco joined the team in 1998 and was handed the proverbial 'baton' in 2006. We opened up on Cypress Creek & Dixie in 2006 and here we are today. We have always hired the best talent available and our current team is no exception. We mean it from the bottom of our heart when we tell a new client that we could sit them in any one of our chairs and know they will be taken care of the right way. It's like being with family when you're here... there is even a shop dog, Dexter, who works just as hard as everyone else to make sure you have a great experience... we have an incredible vibe and you'll immediately know that this is the right hair salon for you.

This is our 20th year wishing everyone a Happy New Year and hoping it's filled with Happiness, Health, and Prosperity. (wealth).
This was an especially challenging year as we lost our Dexter in June. We will be bringing in another 4-legged team member very shortly.
One last thought - when looking for a hair salon you can go somewhere full of 20-something year olds OR you can come to Guys and Dolls where are stylists have 20 years of experience. Choose wisely

Everyone who came to Guys and Dolls these past 14 years had the opportunity to meet our mascot, Dexter. It's with a very heavy heart that we had to say goodbye to our beloved Dexter this past Monday. He came into our lives when he was 2 years old and for 14 years he was always by our side, never left alone, and never missed a single day of work. He was gentle, fun, and the best dog friend that anyone could ever hope for. Be at peace Dexter, see you on the other side.

I went to this salon for the first time yesterday. I met the stylist Erica out, and decided to try her out not knowing anything about her or the salon. I am so happy that i did! I am used to going to trendy salons and i realize just because the salon is in downtown miami or fort lauderdale doesn’t make it better. i really enjoyed the homey feel of the salon. You can tell they have their regular customers of an older more developed clientele, probably because it’s been there forever. i got a full head of highlights for my very long hair, i root blend for my almost black hair, and a haircut. the price was substantially over $500 but i didn’t expect it to be different considering the services and time she took. also, the assistant there was so sweet offering me tea and snacks throughout the day. it truly was a wonderful experience and i will be back.

I look so fantastic after my visit with Anna this weekend! The shop is clean, they have an adorable shop dog named Dexter, and the owner was sooooo kind. My hair looks fabulous and I had an incredibly positive experience. Anna is GREAT with blondes and I have not looked this good in a VERY long time!

Thrilled to see that a client actually appreciated Thank You from Led Zep II. Most comments are about Stairway to Heaven.
