What a beautiful Monday morning! 🌅 Waking up at 6 a.m. to feel the water was exactly what I needed. The ocean was so serene—no waves, just calm, clean, and quiet. This peaceful moment truly made my day. 🌊✨

She was only two or three years old, but she knew she wanted her facial! 🥹💕 This little beauty was not taking no for an answer—and once I gave her a quick pretend facial, it completely made her day.

Our little girls are always watching and learning. Teaching them self-care, confidence, and how to love the skin they’re in can never begin too early. She definitely stole my heart! ✨

Today’s event was absolutely amazing! It wasn’t just about me being a speaker at Hey Friend Hey—it was about the entire experience and how beautifully everything came together.

From our amazing MC and speaker, Jabrina Speaks, to Dr. Katina Kennedy, DNP, EdD, Nurse Practitioner , who educated the young ladies about menstrual health and proper hygiene, every part of the event was meaningful. Ashley also educated everyone about period panties, and every young lady in the room received a pair. The girls learned about skincare, self-love, and the importance of loving the skin they’re in. 💕

Shavon our friendship goes back many years, and I’m so proud of you! You did a phenomenal job putting together such a beautiful and impactful event. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your special day.

Today was a great day! 🌅 I decided to head to the beach this morning to watch the sunrise, meditate, clear my mind, and simply feel free.

It reminded me of the days when I had my women’s group and we would meet at the beach every first Saturday. Although today wasn’t the first Saturday, I went anyway—and I’m so glad I did.

We live in a state with beautiful beaches that tourists travel from all over to enjoy, yet sometimes those of us who live here forget to take advantage of them. So today, I became a tourist in my own city—and it felt amazing! 🏖️☀️
