Twenty years ago, Joy and I began working together on shoots for her brand. What started as a professional relationship blossomed into a beautiful friendship that has stood the test of time.

Our last shoot together was just before the pandemic; and while it took some time to get this one on the books, we've learned that the best things happen in perfect timing. 🙏🏽💙

As we culminate our anniversary month celebrating 12 years of RoryLee®️ Makeup, I wanted to publicly share this heartfelt prayer and blessing from my daughter. 🙏🏽🌹❤️

It reminded me that this journey has always been about so much more than makeup.

Yes, we create products and provide beauty services designed for women on-the-go… but the deeper mission has always been about empowering women, building confidence, encouraging one another, and reminding “Our Girls” that true beauty comes from within.

Over the years, we’ve had the honor of serving women from all walks of life; on set, behind the scenes, in everyday moments, and during life’s most meaningful milestones. Every face, every conversation, every client relationship has mattered.

As we continue to expand and grow the RoryLee®️ Makeup brand, my heart is full of gratitude for our tribe. Thank you to every client who has supported us, trusted us, prayed for us, worn our products, booked our services, shared our name, and believed in the vision. Your support means more than words can express.

This community reminds me that we are stronger when we uplift one another. We are here for one another. Beauty is not about perfection, it’s about confidence, kindness, purpose, and showing up as the woman God created you to be.

Honored to be behind the scenes filming interviews and a photoshoot in celebration of the Historic Opa-Locka 100th Anniversary; a powerful milestone honoring a city rich in culture, architecture, history, and resilience.

Our production took place at the iconic Historic City Hall, built in 1926; the day was filled with meaningful conversations, storytelling, and moments that reflected the beauty of preserving legacy while inspiring future generations.
