8 YEARS OF THE NAIL DRIP. ❤️💧

8 years ago TODAY I did my first set of nails and if you would’ve told that girl what was about to come from that one decision, I probably wouldn’t have believed you.

Because when I started doing nails, I was really just trying to figure my life out. I didn’t have some big master plan for The Nail Drip. I didn’t know I would eventually teach, travel, create my own products, be published, build businesses around my craft or have people actually know me because of NAILS. Like… huhhhhh?!

I’ve had some really HIGH highs with this business and I’ve had plenty of moments where I questioned if I even wanted to do this anymore. I’ve outgrown versions of myself, changed my mind, made mistakes, started over, took breaks, came back, and probably reinvented The Nail Drip 50-11 times. 😂

But one thing about me… I kept going.

And looking back now, I can see how every single part of the journey was necessary.

It built The Nail Drip.
But more importantly, it built me.

So today I’m really just proud. 🥹 Proud of the 2018 version of me for starting, proud of every version after her for not giving up, and extremely grateful for everybody who has supported me in ANY capacity along the way.

And the fact that 8 years later, on 8/28, I’m stepping into yet another era of everything I’ve built??? Yeah… that part gets me. 🥹❤️

God really had a much bigger plan for this than I ever did.

8 years. A lottttt of different versions of me.

If there’s one thing this journey has taught me, it’s that you’re allowed to evolve.

You’re allowed to change your mind. Start over. Try something, realize it’s not giving what you thought it would, go back to the drawing board and come back better.

I’ve done ALL of the above.

The Nail Drip has grown up with me. What started with me doing nails in my apartment became a career, then a business, then education, products, mentorship, traveling to teach… and somehow, I’m still finding new ways to grow it.

And every chapter hasn’t been perfect either. There were times I was LOCKED IN and times I know I could’ve went harder. Times I felt super inspired and times I had to find that spark again.

But I never stopped seeing more for myself.

I think that’s probably my favorite part of my story. I’ve never been afraid to become a beginner again, pivot when something doesn’t feel right anymore or admit when I know I’m capable of MORE.

So if you’re new here, welcome to The Nail Drip. 🤎

And if you’ve been here for a minute, you already know… we’ve come a LONG way.

8 years down and there’s still so much more to this story.

Did you miss me? Had to take a little break but I’m here!!

July was nothing short of phenomenal 🥹

From a one on one class to hosting 2 successful Drip Like Jas classes in both Fort Lauderdale and Orlando (which were a true test of growth), to celebrating my 32nd birthday, it was a month I’ll never forget ✨

and if you know, you know… I spent this entire year working my ass off to give my mom the 60th birthday celebration she deserved and seeing it all come together was one of the most rewarding moments of this year.

And just like that… it was right back to business. ✈️ Off to Atlanta for Jenn’s Teen Beauty Summit and to kick off my next big project.

Life is good, God has been faithful, and we’re just getting started.

August, let’s do your thing. 🤍
