Also I am still Living for the chunky lights 🤘🏼 and Caillin seriously ROCKS this look so hard 🤩 this time we went darker on the brown, lighter on the blonde and we made them a bit chunkier cuz bigger is always better 😏 LOL!

Has anyone else learned to not take the small things for granted during this whole pandemic !? I definitely have learned to enjoy every day and see the positive side of everything every day because life changes in a blink of an eye and you just never know 🌟 I also realized how happy I am behind the chair and how happy it makes me to do what I do everyday, seeing clients walk out the door with so much confidence and feeling their best is what drives me to continue to better myself and never stop learning 💕 cheers to being back to some sort of “normal” and I’m excited to keep creating beautiful hair with my team 🥂✨

This color correction makes me so happy and proud of how much I’ve grown as a stylist 🤗 .
Our goal was to get rid of all the brassy orange pieces and blend out the big chunks, I decided to go with a full highlight using lightener + 10 volume ( I did switch to 6 vol around her face and reapplied 20 vol towards the end to push some old color out ) while the highlights process I applied my “lowlight” ( 6-7, 6-1, 5-0 + 6vol ) to everything I weaved out to cover the orange that wasn’t picked up in the highlights. After a nice wash and scalp massage that is always included in every appointment 😁 I toned her with 9-2, 9-1, 8-3, 8-8 + 6 vol and shadow tapped her root with 5-0, 9-1 + 6 vol to blur out any lines of demarcation and soften the grow out giving her longevity with the color ❣️🍫 .

Nowwww let’s appreciate this bombshell blonde 👱🏼‍♀️ I did back to back highlights with thin weaves to achieve a really bright + blonde look but still maintain a littleeee bit of dimension. I also kept the hair around her face lighter and more solid to accentuate her gorgeous face 😍 ⠀.⠀
Seriously CANNOT wait for daylight savings guyssss!! It gets so dark so early by 3 pm I have no lighting for photos and I’m sorry but I don’t like using ring lights for pictures or add any filters 🙅🏻‍♀️, I like natural lighting Because I feel it looks the more accurate to what we see at the salon 😌 .
