💛 Childhood Cancer Awareness 💛

If you’ve never known a child with cancer or walked alongside their family, consider yourself lucky.

I distinctly remember the day a dear friend’s only granddaughter was diagnosed with cancer. In that moment, there were no perfect words, no way to make it better, and so many of us felt completely helpless. But we also knew one thing—we had to come together and support her and her family every step of the way.

Today, that sweet little girl is a beautiful survivor. 💛 And while we celebrate that victory, childhood cancer doesn’t simply disappear. She will continue to have checkups, follow-ups, and the uncertainty of wondering if it could ever come back.

That’s the part people don’t always see.

Cancer doesn’t discriminate. It can affect any child, any family, at any time. But we can be aware. We can pay attention to the signs. We can support families walking this journey. And we can donate to research that helps give these children a better chance at a healthier future.

This Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, please don’t just wear the gold—learn, share, support, and give when you can. 🎗️

For every child fighting, every survivor, every angel, and every family who has heard the words, “Your child has cancer.”

We see you. We stand with you. And we will keep fighting for a cure. 💛🎗️

📚✏️ Have you ever looked at a school supply list and thought, “Why is there SO much on this list?!”

The truth is… not every family is able to provide it all. ❤️

Some children walk into school each day carrying much more than a backpack. For some, simply making it to school every day is an accomplishment.

So, when you’re able, give a little. 🎒💙

Donate extra supplies. Pick up a few items for a classroom. Help a teacher. Sponsor a child’s supplies. Whatever you can do, it matters.

Because that little donation might mean a child has the supplies they need to learn, a teacher doesn’t have to spend their own money, and a parent feels just a little less overwhelmed.

✨ You may think you’re giving a pencil, a notebook, or a box of crayons… but to someone else, you’re giving support, dignity, and an opportunity to succeed.

Give when you can. Help where you can. A little truly can go a LONG way! ❤️📚✏️

Sometimes taking care of yourself means letting go. Sometimes it means stepping away, taking a break, or even missing out on something you really wanted to be part of.

And sometimes, you have to choose yourself so you can come back stronger, healthier, and able to be there for everyone else.

We cannot pour from an empty cup. We cannot continue to give, support, encourage, and care for everyone around us without eventually putting ourselves first.
