Sixteen years… wow! It honestly doesn’t even feel like it’s been that long. While I’ve been blessed to do hair for many years before opening my salon in 2010, celebrating 16 years of Perfection of Beauty Hair Gallery is a milestone that fills my heart with so much gratitude.
The journey hasn’t always been easy. There were days of uncertainty, sacrifice, long hours, setbacks, and lessons that tested my strength. But through every high and every low, God never left my side. His grace, favor, and guidance have carried me every step of the way.
Owning this salon has been so much bigger than doing hair. It’s been about creating opportunities, building careers, inspiring others, and proving that with faith, determination, consistency, and hard work, anything is possible. Being able to provide a place where talented professionals can grow, learn, and build their own success has been one of my greatest blessings.
If my journey has taught me anything, it’s this: never give up on your dreams. If God placed the vision in your heart, trust Him through the process. It may not happen overnight, but with perseverance and faith, your season will come.
To every client who has trusted me, every stylist who has been part of this journey, every family member, friend, supporter, and every single person who attended our anniversary celebration—thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your love, encouragement, and support mean more than words can express.
This celebration wasn’t the finish line—it was another beautiful reminder that the best is still ahead. As long as God continues to wake me up every morning and blesses me with another 24 hours, I’ll continue walking in my purpose, serving others, and striving for excellence.

The Story Behind the Name “Perfection of Beauty Hair Gallery” 💚✨

Many people have asked me over the years, “How did you come up with the name Perfection of Beauty Hair Gallery?”

To some, it may sound like I simply chose a beautiful name for a beauty salon. But the truth is… it’s much deeper than that.

Before opening my salon in 2010, my husband and I spent countless hours praying and brainstorming the perfect name. Because our lives are centered around God, he suggested choosing something that reflected Him. I wanted a name that represented my faith but also welcomed everyone who walked through our doors.

Then it came to me…

Perfection of Beauty.

The inspiration comes from Psalm 50:2, which says, “Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined.” (⁠Bible Gateway)

That verse has stayed with me ever since.

To me, Perfection of Beauty isn’t about flawless hair, perfect makeup, or outward appearance. It’s about God. He is the true definition of perfection. He is beauty. Without Him, none of this would be possible.

That’s why you’ll always hear gospel music playing when you walk into my salon. That’s why I lead with love, integrity, kindness, and purpose. This business has never been just about doing hair—it has always been my ministry. Every client who sits in my chair, every stylist who has worked beside me, and every blessing this salon has received is because God has been at the center of it all.

So the next time you see the name Perfection of Beauty Hair Gallery, I hope you don’t just think of a salon.

I hope you think of the God who made it all possible.
