ROC & Ry / SOAP Studio & Bar
-- Under Construction --

Last one for the day... This was an interesting experiment. Just charcoal w/ coconut, olive, and castor oil. The pink is shredded soap from a previous batch and I also added a lot of glitter... I felt like this one needed glitter :) no fragrance -- The darkness in the center means it's not done turning into soap! Technically called Gel Phase. Has a cosmic vibe to it. 3 bars/$8

How we spend a lot of our romantic evenings after the kids go down for bed

Cooking with bacon grease!! It turned out to be a very hard bar which means it'll last a good while longer than the others. Side note: It does not smell like bacon :(
First picture: All of the bacon I ate in under 10 minutes
Second: On the left is the old, gross stuff. On the right is the clean fat we ended up using. We used a smidge of red palm oil to get the dark yellow color. (You can see the finished product as the center bar on our cover photo)

Finally! The pages first REAL photo. Woohooo! Yeah, it's edited a little more than I would like but the colors ARE true to the soap, so I can't complain too much (I'll be posting more photos soon, and with more photos comes more practice, thanks for bearing with me)... --- This has been our favorite one to make YET! It's our first attempt at making beer soap & we decided to go with a Black & Tan (Guinness/Yuengling in this case). Goat milk w/ ground oats on top, Guinness and Cocoa in the middle, and Yuengling & ground cloves on the bottom. We used coconut, sunflower, and olive oils with a small amount of Amber Vanilla fragrance. 3 bars/$10
