Think your hair needs more protein?? 👀
It might actually need MORE moisture!
One of the most common things Ive been seeing behind the chair lately both with extensions and natural hair—is protein overload.
Protein has its place. It can help strengthen damaged hair, improve elasticity, and support repair when used correctly. But too much protein can leave hair feeling:
✨ Dry
✨ Rough or crunchy
✨ Tangles easily
✨ Brittle and prone to breakage
✨ Stiff with less movement
And here’s the tricky part: protein is hiding in a LOT of products marketed as “repairing,” “strengthening,” and even some “hydrating” formulas. And don’t feel silly if you fell for it because I did too 🫣
If you’re using a protein shampoo or treatment, I recommend balancing it with a hydrating shampoo and a moisture-rich conditioning mask. Hair needs both strength and moisture, and finding the right balance is what keeps it looking and feeling healthy.
For my extension clients, I typically lean toward hydration-focused products because extensions have already been heavily processed and generally need moisture far more than additional protein. I make sure to use a hydrating leave in conditioner and serum as well to make sure my hair and extensions stay healthy, tangle free and help them last longer.
Not sure if your hair is struggling from protein overload or simply needs a different routine? Send me a message and I’ll help point you in the right direction. 💌
World stop… ✋🏼
Me- Colors hair, installs the extensions, cuts, blends, styles to perfection.
Okay carry on 💁🏼♀️✨
Well I hope you enjoyed that masterpiece 😂
Social media can sometimes feel like a full-time job in itself. 🤍
I love sharing my beautiful clients, the custom looks I create behind the chair, and little glimpses of life outside the salon. But if I’m honest, keeping up with trends, content, and constantly changing algorithms can feel a little overwhelming sometimes.
No matter what, I always want this space to feel authentic — a place where I can connect with my clients, fellow stylists, friends, and followers in a real way. I’m just grateful to have people here who genuinely enjoy being part of what makes me happy. 🥰
Thank you for being part of my journey and supporting me along the way. 🫶🏻
it’s the little things my clients do that mean the most to me 🤍
it’s never just an appointment to me…
it’s the trust you give me with your hair, your confidence, and your time.
the conversations, the laughs, even the quiet moments—
it all matters more than you know.
this is so much deeper than hair for me, and I don’t take a single appointment for granted.
if you’ve sat in my chair, just know I appreciate you more than you realize.
and if you’ve been thinking about booking… this is your sign.
may is almost fully booked— I currently only have 2 spots left! Message me to save your spot ✨
Hair extensions aren’t meant to feel rushed.
They’re not a “squeeze it in” type of service.
And they’re definitely not something you cut corners on.
A true luxury experience is built in the details.
From the consultation…
to custom color matching…
to precise placement, tension, and seamless blending…
It’s the small, intentional choices that create a result that looks and feels effortless.
The difference?
Extensions you can see… vs. extensions you’d never question.
Your hair and scalp deserve precision, care, and a fully customized approach—because the details are what make it last, look natural, and feel like you.
If you’ve ever felt like your extensions were missing something… it was likely in the details.
✨ If you’re ready for a luxury extension experience tailored completely to you, send me a message or apply through the link in my bio.
That’s ok Sharon, No judgement here. 😂😂
Just come on in and let me give you the hair of your dreams.
I can’t fix your life, but I can fix your hair 😉
Hair extensions themselves aren’t the problem —
poor technique, improper weft choice, and lack of education are.
When extensions are installed with:
• the correct method for your hair density
• lightweight, well-designed wefts
• proper tension and placement
• and thorough at-home care education
they can actually protect your natural hair, support healthy growth, and give you fullness/length without damage.
This is why choosing an extension specialist matters.
Not all extensions, methods or installers — are the same.
Healthy hair is always the first priority in my chair🤍
