✨ A Little Lash Education + A Very Important Reminder ✨
I had the opportunity to meet another beauty professional, and during our conversation she mentioned that her lash extensions were actually hurting and making her very uncomfortable. I offered to remove them for her free of charge—and when I inspected the extensions, I immediately understood why I wanted to take a closer look.

The extensions I removed appeared to be around a 0.20 C/CC diameter, which is a very heavy lash extension and is not appropriate for most natural lashes. The correct diameter should always be chosen based on the strength, health, and thickness of the client’s natural lashes.

I placed different diameters next to the extensions I removed—0.15, 0.18, and approximately 0.20—so she could actually see the difference in thickness. Sometimes seeing the difference makes the importance of proper lash selection really click! 👀

This experience reminded me of something I tell my own clients:

💕 COMMUNICATION IS KEY.

If something feels uncomfortable, too heavy, painful, or simply doesn’t feel right, PLEASE speak up and communicate with your lash artist.

And to my fellow beauty professionals: listen to your clients. Asking questions, explaining your choices, and being open to concerns doesn’t make us less skilled—it makes us better providers.

At Muse’s Lash & Beauty, I always remind my girls: you will never hurt my feelings by telling me something doesn’t feel right. I want to know! Your feedback helps me improve and allows me to provide the safest, healthiest, and best service I can.

Sometimes a simple conversation turns into something beautiful. ✨

I met this gorgeous new client completely by chance at Lowe’s while my husband and I were shopping for a new mini split. We started talking, I handed her my business card… and two weeks later, she was in my lash bed! 🥰

Fast forward to Thursday — she got her lashes, and then I received THIS text:

💬 “Thank you again for doing my lashes. I feel so beautiful and they look fantastic.”

THAT is what I love hearing. ❤️

As a lash artist, creating beautiful lashes is one thing… but knowing I helped a woman look in the mirror and feel freaking beautiful about herself? That makes me incredibly proud. 🥹✨

🤍 A FULL-CIRCLE MOMENT 🤍

After being away from threading for over 9 years, I finally threaded my first model again! 🥹✨ And I couldn’t have asked for a sweeter client. She trusted me with her brows and was so happy with the results! 🤍

A little piece of my story: I learned threading in 2017 during a difficult chapter of my life. While I was incarcerated, an older woman saw me working hard to earn commissary and decided to teach me how to thread.

I practiced throughout those four months, and it became a skill I never forgot. After I got home, I stopped threading and went on to work a regular job.

Fast forward 9+ years… I’m bringing that skill back! 🥹🤍

It’s amazing how life brings you full circle. Something I learned during a difficult season is now something I’m proud to offer at Muse’s Lash & Beauty.

🤍 From a Chapter I Never Expected to Revisit… to a Craft I’m Proud to Offer Again

Today was a special one for me. 🥹✨

After being away from threading for over 9 years, I finally had the opportunity to thread my first model again—and I couldn’t have asked for a sweeter person to trust me with her brows. She was so kind, patient, and most importantly, she loved her brows! 🤍

A little backstory…

I learned how to thread back in 2017, during a very different chapter of my life. I spent four months incarcerated, and during that time, I was doing laundry for other women to earn a little commissary because I was struggling financially and my husband was searching for work.

One day, an older woman noticed me working hard and trying to make something out of a difficult situation. She decided to teach me how to thread.

And I practiced. A LOT. 😂

What started as something I learned during a difficult season became a skill that helped me get through those four months. But once I was released, I honestly never thought threading would become something people would be looking for here in Fort Mohave, Bullhead City, or Needles. So, I put it aside, went back to working a regular job, and eventually moved on to other things.

Fast forward almost a decade… look at me now. 🥹🤍

I’m bringing back a craft I learned during one of the hardest chapters of my life and turning it into something positive that I can now offer through Muse’s Lash & Beauty.

Life has a funny way of bringing you full circle. Sometimes the skills you learn in your hardest seasons are the very ones you get to use in your next chapter. ✨

I’m still learning, practicing, and perfecting my technique, but I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to grow and add threading services to my studio.

To my beautiful model—thank you for trusting me with your brows and being so sweet throughout the process. 🤍
