Summer is over. The harsh sun could have caused some damage to your skin. Some of us get a beautiful suntan, and others are more prone to sunburns, sun rashes, and irritation. However, in both cases, the outer layer of the skin is getting damage, as good as it looks tan skin is damaged skin. The results usually are hyperpigmentation, sun spots, dry skin, and dull-looking skin. Once the temperatures decrease and the tans fade, the problems start been more apparent and start to catch up to us.
Five tips to take care of your skin after fun in the sun ( in Florida and tropical climate areas ALL YEAR ROUND):
1: book an appointment with your favored esthetician, to start your damage control process with a professional.
2: Exfoliate with a mild exfoliator once a week to minimize pores, slough off dead skin cells, and to bring back life to your skin.
3: Invest in a hydrating that will bring moisture to your skin.
4: SUNSCREEN: don’t forget your sunscreen all year round shine or rain. If you leave in a place that the sun rarely shines, DON’T FORGET SUNSCREEN.
5: H2O: Don’t just apply, ingested as well. It is essential to drink two liters of water or more and eat fruits and vegetables that contain water every day.
It does not matter how old you are, 12 years older, start taking care of your skin, before the aging process begins, and wrinkles start showing, maintenance is the key to beautiful skin.
Reality is we start aging the moment we are born.
