Today ended up being a day for reflection.

I had a photoshoot planned… and got completely ghosted.

I was really prepared —brought outfit changes, did my makeup (rare for me), genuinely excited to have some help creating content for my business.

They had just confirmed the time with me this morning.

Then when the time came, they were stopped responding.

I waited… 5 minutes, 10 minutes…
Nothing. No message, no explanation.

I was wondering if they were okay… but no—just a complete disregard for my time.

At first, I felt discouraged. Honestly, a little defeated.
But then I realized something important —

I still showed up.

And that’s something I can stand on.

When people ask what sets me apart as a massage therapist, it’s not just technique, skills…
It’s that I show up fully—present, intentional, and ready to hold space every single time.
That alone is the bare minimum as far as I’m concerned.

So in a strange way, today made me even more grounded in that.

Because this kind of inconsiderate energy? That’s just not how I operate.
And I’m proud of that.

Instead of letting it ruin my day, I pivoted—took some photos myself, and still had my sister who had stepped in to help me out as a model 🤍

Making the best of it and moving forward… even when things don’t go as planned.
