I will now be transitioning and spending my time at The Salon Professional Academy of Ft.Myers teaching the esthetics program to students! I am very excited about this new chapter in my life. Skincare has gotten reallyyy popular right now and I couldn’t be happier! With so many options out there it can be difficult to know which products are best for your skin! Every body is different, there is no one size fits all with skincare. Different social media platforms are promoting skincare products and techniques that are in other words ❌scary❌
• When looking at skincare products it’s important to look at the ingredient list ALWAYS. Even if you don’t really understand what your reading these are the ingredients to look out for and avoid
🎯 Alcohols • very drying & irritating
🎯 Artificial Fragrance • drying, causes skin irritation and linked to cause specific skin irritations such as eczema & psoriasis ( avoid any type of fragrance if you are very sensitive )
🎯 Mineral Oils & Coconut Oil! • comedogenic (clogs pores) , interferes with skins ability to eliminate toxins
✨ And that is just to name a few! If you see a product with an excessive amount chemicals that you can’t pronounce, just avoid it! Also understand that skincare products WILL contain ingredients that are necessary for formulation, and you probably won’t be familiar with them. Remember, when in doubt google it! Your skin is your largest organ and absorbs everything you put on it. Keep this in mind when you’re shopping for skincare ✨

Another thing to keep in mind is pricing! I’m all for a good deal, and usually my skincare ranges in the medium priced range. Extremely low priced skincare has low quality ingredients (you get what you pay for!) products like Cerave & Cetaphil contain very low quality ingredients and may temporarily help your skin but in the long run you’re doing more harm than good. I recommend to anyone looking for a good decent price skincare line that has quality ingredients 🦋
