For strong, consistent trays, this part is essential:
👉 Germination temperature matters
Seeds prefer warmth—around 80°F is ideal for fast and healthy germination.
If it’s too cold, seeds slow down, germinate unevenly, and can even develop mold.
Once they sprout, the focus shifts:
💧 Keep humidity as low as possible
Too much moisture leads to:
Mold
Weak stems
Poor airflow in trays
What we want is a clean, controlled environment where microgreens can grow strong and healthy.

I just got back from my fabulous vacation out west, where I explored the stunning beauty of Yellowstone, the Grand Teton, and Timpanogos in Utah, along with some other breathtaking mountains. It was an incredible experience!

Now that I’m back, I’m excited to share that I’m already planting microgreens for the upcoming market as the 2024/2025 season approaches. Mark your calendars for this Wednesday, October 2nd, when I’ll be starting the sowing process!
