Life Update! ✨

Surprise—I opened my own salon suite! Would it even be me if I didn’t randomly quit my salon job and start my own business in under two weeks? Absolutely not. 🙃

This past year has been wild, and somehow, I continue to thrive in the chaos (highly recommend? Unsure. But here we are). It hasn’t been easy, but nothing worth having ever is!

The hardest part of leaving Illinois wasn’t the weather (I do not miss that). It was leaving the salon. I somehow found the unicorn of salons—an amazing place with even better people—and I know I’m never going to find that in Florida. But hey, if I can’t find it, I’ll just build it! A wise woman once said, “If you’re unhappy with where the bar is down there, then be the bar and raise it.” So here I am, officially becoming the bar… and probably also the bartender, janitor, and emotional support stylist.

I also have to give a huge shoutout to the amazing people who helped make this happen. Whether you cheered me on, carried way too many boxes, brainstormed names, helped financially, or talked me off a ledge when I had a minor (okay, maybe major) meltdown—I couldn’t have done this without you. Seriously, words will never be enough to express how grateful I am to have such incredible people in my corner. You’re all stuck with me forever, sorry not sorry!
